Christine graduated from Rowan College of New Jersey, now Rowan University, in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She was a member of the Accounting Society.
Christine first worked as an intern for a public accounting firm while attending Rowan. Upon graduation, she accepted a position with a jacket manufacturing company providing assistance with general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation, cost accounting procedures, and special projects. Christine later became the accountant for a not-for-profit elementary school. Her responsibilities included preparation of annual budget, contract maintenance with various school districts through reporting and invoicing, accounts payables, approval and purchase of equipment and supplies for staff and students, preparation of financial statements, administration of state food program, and overall management of the business office. Christine moved to southeast Texas with her family in 1999 and has been employed with Wathen, DeShong & Juncker, L.L.P. since January 2000. She is currently a Senior Professional Staff.
