Vy graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She previously held a two-year Associate Degree of Applied Science in Paralegal and worked in law offices for ten years. Vy followed her husband’s career path, making a drastic change and began her public accounting career with Wathen, DeShong & Juncker in 2011.
Vy’s experience focuses mainly on auditing and financial statement preparation with some tax return preparation included. She is currently a Senior Professional staff. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs and Beta Alpha Psi, International Honor Society.

Vy and husband Kenny Nguyen have been married since 2012 and have one son Philip. She enjoys spending time with her family, dining out, singing karaoke, shopping, watching Korean dramas and crime shows.
